Days: Wednesdays and Fridays (clothing is available on Fridays only).
Time: Arrive by 11:45 A.M. (Doors open at 10:30am)

If you or someone you know is in need of food, please come BY 11:45am on Wednesday & Friday.

  • We do NOT require any pre-registration or proof of address, but please read our H2H Information Sheet before attending. Thank you.

Harvest To Hope provides food and clothing to residents in need right here in Hackensack, as well as surrounding communities.

(Through various distribution points in Bergen County as well as Jersey City, Newark, Paterson, and more.)

Volunteer

New Volunteers are accepted on an as needed basis.

Please email h2h@ecchackensack.org in advance if you would like to volunteer.

  • All volunteers are required to sign a volunteer agreement and liability waiver, and will be given a brief orientation before you can start.

  • Volunteer shifts are Wednesday & Friday from 10:30am-1:00pm (or whenever distribution is complete and everything is cleaned up.).

  • If you come to volunteer, please plan to stay for the ENTIRE time.

  • For more information on volunteering please email h2h@ecchackensack.org. We also welcome small groups when coordinated in advance.

  • Harvest To Hope (H2H) is a compassion ministry of Emmanuel Christian Church. 1 John 4:19: We love because He [Jesus] first loved us.

    • Volunteers must have hearts to serve first/receive last, be able to stay for the entire volunteer shift, and be good team players.

  • If interested please fill out a volunteer application, and let us know when you would like to come.

Donate

CURRENT DONATION REQUESTS:

  • SUMMER CLOTHING (Especially Mens clothing of all sizes. Items should be clean and gently used, or new.)

  • SHOES (Clean and gently used, or new.)

  • BABY DIAPERS (New in package.)

  • SOCKS (Clean and gently used, or new.)

  • HYGENE PRODUCTS (Individual sized shampoos, soaps, body lotion, tooth brush, toothpaste, deodorant, wet wipes, etc.)

  • Items can be dropped of on Wednesday & Friday from 10:30am-1:00pm, or Thursday 6:45pm-9pm.

  • We are NOT accepting any household items at this time.

Give

While our food is donated, we do still need to purchase supplies for the ministry such as food safe bags/containers, gloves, cleaning supplies, storage containers, etc. If you’d like to give a monetary donation to support this amazing ministry, please click the button to do so.
