How Do I Lead My Heart?

Your heart follows your investments.

Whatever you pour your time, money or energy into is what your heart follows.

Jesus said it this way: “Where your treasure is that's where your heart is also.” -Matthew 6:21

So let's do some inventory of the heart:

In the last month...

  • What have you spent your time on?

  • Where have you spent your money?

  • What have you been talking about?

  • Is it good treasure or mammon (an idol)?

Realize you must guard your heart.

Proverbs 4:23- “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

Eyes, ears, mind, must to be submitted to the Holy Spirit .

Don't lust after money or your purchases.

Don't let your heart lust after beautiful men or women.

Psalm 62:10- “When your riches increase, do not set your heart on them.

Take command of your heart.

When the world saysFollow Your Heart”.

Take authority over that thought, and command your heart to:

“Set your heart on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.”- Colossians 3:1

Choose to take your heart off what's wrong and put it on what is pleasing to Jesus.

Finally, invest your heart in what is good.

The Word of God & solid Christian books are your foundation. Get into a group with other believers at church.

This is your community for support.

You're not going to get what you need from people with worldly philosophies.

Fish in good waters. The world is polluted.

The church community may have some issues, but the pure in heart will see God.

It's your heart. Lead it to the feet of Jesus every morning, and be transformed daily.
