“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
-Psalms 46:10 NKJV
Be still. That's the goal.
Be still, in your soul.
Be still, in your mind.
So God can be exalted in and through you.
These statements cause us to take inventory of ourselves by asking,
“Who has control over my soul?”
Does the "I, me, and mine" have control, or does the Holy Spirit have control?
Do your emotions have control, or does the Holy Spirit have control?
Be still, and know, that if your whole faith is in Jesus, then God, the Holy Spirit is in you.
Be still. Ask Him to take control of your opinions, thoughts, plans, assumptions, fears, worries.
Choose to be still.
Quiet your inner person as you read or listen to The Sermon on the Mount, and Psalms 1-32.
Agree with God as you read.
Be still and change the dynamic.
Instead of body leading, soul dominating, and Spirit following, change the dynamic to God’s order...
Spirit leads, Soul is under submission, and the body is an instrument to show the nations how a man or woman of God, that is controlled by the Holy Spirit, exalts Jesus.
Be Still.
