So what is it to be pure in heart?
We can say, to Love God with all our heart soul and mind, and love others as ourselves.
But the question becomes how do YOU love?
Do you love to get something in return?
Do you love as long as you are accepted?
Do you love because it gives a good feeling?
Is your love confused with lust?
Love's foundation is found in our motive.
Why do I love?
Why am I loving this one?
We love Jesus because He first loved us and put His Spirit in us so we can love Him .

Internalize the verses.
Then ask the Holy Spirit to help you yield your self-loving soul to love Jesus more than yourself.
To love people as much as you love your own sinful self.
Then you will see God.
