THAT CHRISTMAS FEELING
/“The shepherds went back to their flocks, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen. It was just as the angel had told them.” Luke 2:20 NLT
When God makes a promise you can be certain He will fulfill the promise. He says of Himself, He is not a man that He could lie and It is impossible for God to change. Therefore when God makes a promise He does not change.
When God says He will never leave you or forsake you, that means God is present with you. Plainly Stated He is with you 24/7/365. When you forget, He is present. When you don’t realize, He is present. When you try to hide, He is present. When you relax and hang out, He is present.
Christmas season is a time to recognize that God has never left us. He is here. Many attribute feelings of sadness, isolation and depression because they recount in the minds all they do not have. They look at what others have and compare.
This season take a deeper look at Jesus, the one who is ‘God’s with us’. Ask Him to conceive in you faith to see the new life He has for you. The new dream only God can birth in your heart. The new direction for your life, family, career.
Could it be that the ‘Christmas feeling’ is The Holy Spirit drawing you into a season of a prayer- search to know Gods true purpose for your new year?
Pray and read your Bible. You will discover what the shepherds realized, things are ‘just as the word says’.
