GOD'S WORD IS WISDOM
/“But do people know where to find wisdom? Where can they find understanding? It is hidden from the eyes of all humanity. Even the sharp-eyed birds in the sky cannot discover it”... “God alone understands the way to wisdom; he knows where it can be found,”. Job 28:20-21, 23 NLT
During the second week of 2020 Emmanuel Christian Church took to a week of fasting and praying. This church has been fasting and praying for the City of Hackensack for eleven years. We were fasting and praying because The Lord God has all wisdom and understanding. He knows what has taken place. He knows what is taking place. He knows what will take place. The church was seeking God’s wisdom for the year 2020.
In 2015 He told us to walk through the city and invite all the store owners residence and government officials to pray for the welfare of Hackensack. We posted a large banner across the church and called it, ‘Hackensack Prays’. Every Wednesday from noon till one we prayed for the prosperity of the city (Jeremiah 29:7). Today the city is booming with new buildings and high hopes.
This year, during the 2020 week of prayer and fasting, on Wednesday and Thursday the Holy Spirit gave this church two clear messages.
They were: You will go through a season of testing and discipline, and this will take patient endurance. Both based on the Bible. On that Sunday the Lord God spoke through a prophetic utterance that “God is mighty in our midst”.
The church took these words of wisdom and knew God was giving us a warning and a promise.
We will be going through a time of shaking, it will take patience to endure it , however God will show Himself mighty in the midst of this time of discipline. We can say we are not shaken or surprised by what is happening today. There is also a peace evident that is dispelling fear among the people that attend this church through various ministries throughout the week.
Faith in Jesus’ wisdom is the anchor.
He has given the church resurrection assurance. During this difficult time in our nation, take heart Jesus is with you. He told us so we would know. He said, ‘The secrets of the Lord are for those who (revere) Him.’ Ps.25:14.
Beloved there are thousands of people around you hurting and filled with fear. Will you with the wisdom of God bring them to Jesus the healer, the rock, the only one that overcame death and the grave so we can live and tell about it!
