CHOOSING WELL

“Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR? Or WHO HAS FIRST GIVEN TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.” Romans‬ ‭11:33-36‬ ‭

When a fisherman goes fishing, he gets in his boat and throws ‘fish feed’ into a large area of water. Or, he will go to waters where there are schools of small fish because the larger fish feed on the smaller fish. Result, he comes back to the dock with his nets filled with fish.

Where do you fish for knowledge, understanding, answers to your questions?

Friend, The Reservoir of all knowledge and understanding is ‘near you, in your mouth and heart, that is the Word of faith...’ .

Read and believe that the Lord will give you the understanding as you seek Him. Only, after you ask the question be prepared to have an answer that is different than your desired outcome. His ways are different that ours, He is higher than us.

Because He knows both sides of the need that you have. He knows what’s best for you. Jesus has the best for you.

Will you trust Him for the outcome of your ‘need to know’? It may look different. You may need to make adjustments by aligning your nature with Jesus.

The psalmist in Psalm 27:5 says, ‘“For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock.”

What He is saying is you don’t need to fight every battle, you don’t need to worry, you don’t need to fear, you are not helpless or hopeless. Your Great Shepherd will protect you by His authority and at the same time leave you out there to show you and all your adversaries the strength of a child of God when Almighty God the Protecter, Provider and Counselor has you in His shelter. He will tell you what you need to know. He will lift you up on the Rock of your Foundation...Jesus.

Listen to the response of the psalmist when He let’s God have His way, verse 6 ‘I will offer in His tent...shouts of joy.’

Joy in the day of trouble. Joy when the answer comes. Joy! Read, listen, obey the Word and your nets will be filled.
